Qualified in 1995, I have over 20 years of experience as a Specialist General Practitioner at Te Kōhao Health, dedicated to serving the health needs of Māori communities.

I am committed to improving equitable care for Māori within the health system and supporting Māori GPs through my extensive involvement with the General Practice College. In recognition of my contributions to General Practice, I was awarded a Distinguished Fellowship in 2015. My professional interests include chronic care and mental well-being, with a strong focus on women’s and child health through committee service at both local and national levels.

Dr. Tipene Wairepo

I graduated with my MBChB from the University of Otago in 2018 and became a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners in 2024.

My medical experience spans orthopaedics, urgent care, and general practice, with a particular focus on rural and Māori health. I specialize in minor surgery, no-scalpel vasectomy, men’s health, and ultrasound-guided procedures and injections. Committed to delivering high-quality, accessible healthcare, I ensure cultural competence remains at the heart of my practice.

Dr. Stephen Taharua Wall

I have links to Ngāti Mahuta Ki Te Tai Hauāuru and Ngāti Mutunga Ki Taranaki. Born and raised in Hamilton, I am proud to serve my community as a general practitioner.

I recently joined the clinic and have taken over the care of Dr. Muhammad Raza’s enrolled patients. Over the past eight years, I have worked in both general practice and urgent care across Hamilton and Te Awamutu. I am currently based at the new Enderley Clinic, Taakiri Tuu, and also run a free clinic in Kāwhia on Wednesdays.

My medical interests include acute care, lifestyle medicine, and musculoskeletal injuries. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and our two young sons, who keep me busy.

I am excited to be working in a clinic with a strong Māori health focus and look forward to providing excellent care to my patients.
